At Northwest, we believe EVERY person is important to God. We also believe each person can learn about and understand what it means to be a child of God. We know that everyone learns differently, therefore we are passionate about presenting the message of God’s love in a way that meets every individual learning style.
Northwest Unlimited is a Sunday-morning ministry serving those with special needs. We utilize an adapted curriculum presented in a safe, loving environment. Lessons are hands-on and interactive, incorporating music, movement, and sensory activities when appropriate. We attempt to meet the needs of each child or adolescent, encouraging them to participate with their peers in the least restrictive environment possible. We provide assistance ranging from “buddies” who can sit alongside your child to individual instruction, if needed.
Our team is made up of highly qualified volunteers with multiple certifications and specializations for working with a variety of individuals. We attempt to pair the appropriate team member with your child or adolescent, based on the unique needs of your family member. We’d love to meet you and get to know more about your child prior to Sunday, to better serve you.
